So I splurged again... Revlon Lip Butters

 I love these, pretty packaging, colours and oh so moisturising! They are available in a range of colours that you can mix and match to suit your mood, so perfect!

I got two, Peach Parfait 025 which is a lovely peachy pink that has gold specks running through it and Creme Brulee 095 a shimmery nude.

I really can't explain my love for these enough, they look so sleek and are great to just swipe on when you're in a rush because they do not stain so mistakes can quickly be wiped away.

The only negative is that they do not have much staying power and will definitely not make it through lunch without needing another application. 

Balance me treatments - Rose Otto Lip Salve Review

This 100% natural lip salve by Balance me treatments was a gift in Glamour magazine a couple of months ago and I forgot about it until recently. I decided to get using it to see if it actually did what it said on the tin as I suffer terribly with dry lips. 

The formula has a really good consistency and doesn't feel too sticky however it doesn't really sink in either so it really feels like it is doing its job.

 I have to admit I absolutely detest the smell of it, it reminds me of earth (mud) but to write a decent review for people that can stomach the smell I decided to continue using it.

 Overall my findings are pretty positive , it makes my lips appear plumper and and helped to moisturise my lips to a degree where I can wear lipstick  without it looking bunched and cracked.

The 10ml is the full size and if I am honest I cannot see myself buying this again as at full price it is £12 and I still cannot get on with the scent! However if the scent was more to my liking repurchasing would definitely be on the cards.

Sooo..today is an exciting day

Today I got my GCSE results and let me tell you all the pain was worth it!! 8A*'s and 2A's, I am so pleased. Everyone in my year did brilliantly and I cannot wait to finally get a proper nights sleep and relax. I am really looking forward to sixth form now. Currently I am drinking a lovely glass of bubbly to celebrate

On another note, I am very excited as two new Models Own nail polishes I ordered arrived today! I got 'Hedkandi Beach Party' and 'Pastel Pink' from Boots (x) I was also lucky enough to get them under the Buy 1 get 2nd half price on selected Models Own cosmetics so altogether paid £7.50 excluding postage. I am really pleased with how they look and I absolutely love the packaging! I really cannot wait to try these out, I will make sure I post swatches and a good review.

Tonight I have a wedding party so I am off to get ready (have already had a spray tan so I don't look translucent).

The Zoo!

A few days ago my cousins and I had a moment of childish weakness as we managed to persuade our parents to take us to the zoo. Having not been for a few years the excitement surrounding the trip was huge, this is what we got up to...

We had a great time and even got sunburned (considering the summer we have had that is a miracle) My favourite animals had to be the elephants (especially the baby ones) they were falling over everywhere. We will definitely be visiting again!
